What is Yin Yoga?

Yin yoga is a slower paced meditative yoga method that focuses on creating space in your body and mind. If you think of a power flow yoga class as “Yang”, Yin yoga is the complement to that. Yang classes focus on movement and muscular activation. Yin classes focus on stillness and muscle relaxation while creating space in the deeper tissues of the body. It is a perfect anti-dote to today’s busy lifestyles, and a great practice to partake in when you are on vacation!

What is Laughing Yoga?

Laughing Yoga is a joyful pranayama (breathing/energy movement) practice that uses intentional laughter to boost positive hormones and combat cortisol in the body. Thirty minutes of laughing yoga works out your entire body, and especially your abdomen! No equipment is required and is a great “brain break” for conferences and corporate events. Incorporating laughter yoga into your event harnesses the power of synchronization to immediately increase the closesness of the participatory group. Great for releasing stress and increasing creativity. Bonus: it even boosts immunity!
