About Sea Salt

I love to share yoga with friends and family...and YOU are friends and family!
I began practicing yoga in Winston-Salem, NC in the early aughts, where I found an amazing sangha of like-minded individuals who encouraged my growth through regular practice, retreats, and workshops. Under the guidance of many wonderful teachers — especially my dear teacher, Judi Malloy — I experienced a wide range of yoga traditions, from Integral to Iyengar, Yin, and various Vinyasa styles.
For over 30 years, my professional calling has been in Early Learning, where I currently serve as President of Kindermusik International.
My work has taken me across the U.S. and abroad, and wherever I go, my travel mat is always packed and ready to roll out. After visiting North Litchfield Beach for many years with my husband Jeff, we relocated permanently to Murrells Inlet in 2021. Here I discovered a vibrant and welcoming community of yogis, and I’m grateful to call Inlet Yoga in Murrells Inlet my yoga home.
In 2023, I took the plunge with teacher Maribeth MacKenzie and earned my RYT200 certification in the Ashtanga tradition — a beautiful complement to the many styles I had practiced over the years. The Ashtanga journey deepened my understanding of “one breath, one movement.”
Most recently, I completed my Yin Yoga Teacher Certification, and I especially love guiding students through this grounding, restorative style. Yin Yoga offers the invitation to pause, soften, and listen — a practice I hold close to my heart and one I am delighted to share with you.
I am profoundly grateful for the life-changing lessons yoga has brought to my life. My practice has made me a better person inside and out, and I look forward to welcoming you on the mat to share in this journey together.
